Maguire Taxes LLC (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and who can see it. Questions: maguiretaxes@gmail.com or (781) 471-4310.
What we collect
- Booking and preparation requests: your name, email address, phone number, the type of request, the date and time you choose, and any notes you type.
- Contact and organizer requests: your name, email address, phone number, tax year, which organizers you want, how you want them delivered, and your message.
- Security data: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and automated submissions. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details.
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank account numbers or tax documents on any form on this website. We collect those only through our secure document portal or other secure channels, never by email, text or website form.
How we use it
We use what you send only to respond to you, schedule and confirm appointments, send reminders and confirmations, deliver tax organizers you request, and provide our tax preparation and planning services. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your request goes to Maguire Taxes staff. To run our services we use trusted providers, who handle information only for that purpose: our website host (WP Engine), Google (email and calendar), Zoom (video meetings), and Cloudflare (security checks). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Google user data
Our booking system connects to the Google Calendar account of Maguire Taxes only. It uses calendar permissions to check when the office is available and to create appointment events. It does not read, store or share the Google data of visitors. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests and related records for up to three years, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
How we protect it
We use access controls, multi-factor authentication on our core systems, and secure hosting. No system is perfectly secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive identifiers through website forms.
Text messages
If you check the box on our booking form, tell us verbally when you book by phone, or text us first, we may text you about your appointment or return: confirmations, reminders, and notices that your documents or return are ready or need attention. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help (call (781) 410-4728). Consent is not required to book or to be served. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Please never text Social Security numbers or bank details. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent through this website by contacting us. We will honor the request unless we are required to keep the record.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
